Stomach Rumble

I heard

my stomach rumble

when it saw

the chocolate cake.

I heard my stomach rumble,

And it said,

“Take, take!”

So I took

a piece of cake.

It was big enough for four!

Then I heard my stomach rumble,

and it said, “Take more!”

So I took another piece,

and now my stomach’s sore.

I won’t listen to my stomach

If it rumbles anymore!

Our poem was stomach rumble this week so today we made delicious cakes.
