THIS WEEK WE ARE HOLDING THE ARROWTOWN SCHOOL EXTRAVAGANZA!

It will be in the Arrowtown Hall from 7-8.30pm

All Room 14 children are to be at school at 6.30pm sharp.

They can be picked up at 7.30pm.

Spring flower show - Blogger Mace

On Thursday we made some floral art in a cup with our buddies. We took our art to the Arrowtown hall to be judged. As a class we came first and won a trophy. The people that won were Stella, Joel and Ben, and George came second place. The prizes are sun flower seeds.      

The extravaganza is in one day. We are doing the Lion King for the extravaganza. There are lions and tigers , zebras, giraffes and elephants. We are playing Simba.

Year 2 Treat!

This term the Year 2 children sold some gorgeous art to raise some money for our financial literacy unit. We did so well that we sold almost all of our art and we made a whole lot of money! We decided that we would go to the swimming pool pool and have a grand old time of it there. On Tuesday Room 14, 15 and 1 headed to the pool with our teachers and loads of amazing parents for an amazing time here are a few photos...

It's dress rehearsal week! Room 14 is busy sorting out costumes and putting the final touches on our item for the Extravaganza. We are so excited and cannot wait for you to see us ROAR!!!

Spring Flower Show

Room 14 entered floral art as well as some stunning pastel art into

The Spring Flower show today. We could  not believe our eye when we saw that we had win the most points overall!! Well down Room 14 you guys rock!!

Mr Caldwell, Mrs Chsholm and Kenn collected the award.

Room 14s Shop

Mrs Chisholm has opened a class shop. Once we have raised $1000 for the class treat you can start saving your money to spend at the class shop. We are learning that it is a good idea to save your money as you can buy things that you would much rather have.

We like working hard for our money and we quite like spending it too!

Spring Walk

Today we walked down to the museum. Amy from the museum took us on a spring walk. It was very interesting. We found out about the different seasons and learnt a lot about different flowers. We had a great time on our spring walk.
