Our Art Rage - Blogger Eliana

YAY! we've put up our gate and our table! AREN'T THEY GREAT?  We're having a great time working at the table and seeing our gate put up.   Some lovely class put a sign at  the bottom of our gate saying WELCOME!

Ice Skating

Today was our first ice skating lesson.  We had a great time moving round the different obstacles on the ice and were really excited about how quickly we improved throughout the lesson.

Even though lots of us fell over we kept getting back up and carrying on.

Mrs Chisholm was very proud of us!

Blogger of the Week

This term we are having a 'Blogger of the Week'

This is where one person in our class is in charge of updating our blog throughout the week.  They will learn how to put a post on the blog and upload photos.

Our blogger this week is Eliana she can be found at the new and improved 'Blog Spot' in our room.

Money, Money, Money $$$ - Blogger Eliana

This term we are learning about money.  We have a shop that we work at, it is called Greengrocers.  We have three customers, two cashiers,  and one manager.  I think we will have a great time playing at the greengrocers.

Today we came to school dressed up as Heroes, Villains and Fairytale characters.  The whole Junior and Senior School did too!

It was fun guessing which character each of us were and we loved parading our costumes at Junior Assembly.

Art Rage - We are done!

Room 14 wonderful Teacher Aide Kris has helped us hugely to to complete our Art Rage project.  The children designed what they would like to go on their picnic table and from there they did a class vote. 

Once they had decided on the design they got straight onto undercoating their table.  After that it was two or three coats of paint and some sealant.

We are so proud of our table and can not wait to use it next term to do some of our school work at yay!
