Tuesday 27th May

Yesterday we had a snow day.  The roads were too unsafe for us to come to school so all the children had a day off school.  Some of us sent in photos to school of all the fun we had in the snow.
If you have more send them in we would love to see them!

Back to School...

Today we came back to school and the whole school was WHITE!
We snuck out early to play to have fun in the snow before everyone was there.  We had so much fun throwing snowballs and being silly.
Snow is fun!

Digital Camera

Today Room 14 learnt how to use the digital camera and that there are different camera angles you can photos with.  This week are learning how to take 'birds eye view' photos.
This is where you take a photo as if you are looking at something from the point of the view of a bird.  We decided that as a bird flies around in the sky most the time that this must mean you are up high looking down.

Harriet and Oscar from the 'Lorax' reading group had a turn practicing today.
Here are their photos.  How do you think they went?

Term 2

This term instead of bringing your sunhat to school it would be a wonderful idea to bring a pair of slippers.  Because it gets so muddy outside we are not going to wear a shoes in the classroom.  If you would like to bring a pair of slippers to wear inside to keep your feet nice and snaggy that would be just fine by me.
You can bring your slippers to and from school each day or you can leave them at school the choice is yours.

Don't they look cosy?

Star of the Week!

Mrs Redpath has left me a little note saying that our wonderful Harriet is Week 3s star!  I am so pleased to hear this news and not surprised at all as Harriet is AMAZING!!
Well done my friend, enjoy your week in the throne!

Well done Harriet, you are a star!
