Star of the Week!

Our first star of term 2 is going to be Ben!  He has worked so hard this week and has put a big effort into his learning.

Kayla's Surprise Party!

Today we had a surprise party for Kayla.  Kayla is moving all the way to Australia in the holidays so we wanted to do something special for her.

We had lots of yummy food, great music and even some dancing.  It was fun!

We wish Kayla and her family all the best for their move and hope they stay in touch with their friends in Room 14.

Miss Caldwell's Pretend Wedding

In the holidays Miss Caldwell is getting married.  Today Room 14 as well as their buddy class Room 19 organised a pretend wedding for her.  She had her make up and hair done and we dressed her up in building clothes because she is marrying a builder.

Our Dance

Here is a video of Room 14 taken at the Autumn Festival.  Bethany's Mum Charlotte filmed it for us.  We loved watching ourselves!

Autumn Festival

Yesterday Rooms 14 and 15 went down to the Village Green in Arrowtown to perform their Autumn Festival Dance.  They did such an amazing job of their dances and really made their parents and teachers proud!

After the dancing we got to watch some men perform magic tricks and Kayla's Dad was picked out of the crowd to do a ginger nut trick.  It was so funny!

Story Teller

Today we had a special surprise.  An amazing story teller came to school to talk to us.  He had lots of instruments we had never seen before.  We really enjoyed his stories...

We made some jelly bean trees for our classroom.  They are so bright, fun and colourful!  Come in and check them out!

Star of the Week

This week we have two stars as Miss Caldwell picked one and Mrs Redpath picked another!  Zoe and Eliana are both great girls and we are lucky to have such awesome leaders in our classroom this week.

Happy Birthday

Poor Zoe!  Miss Caldwell forgot to put her birthday photo up last week.  Zoe had to remind her today.  Zoe turned 6 on the 28th of March.  She had a lovely birthday and got heaps of awesome new presents.
